Lost and alone in the murky backwoods of Louisiana, a small group of friends find themselves being hunted by a monster of unspeakable horror and malevolence. Lurking beneath the depths of the swamp in which they have become ensnared, lies the Creature. Hiding beneath the shallows, it waits. 



Legend tells of an abomination, a creature that is half man, half alligator. A creature that feeds off human flesh, butchering its victims whilst they still breathe. As they venture further into its fetid lair, they must pray that the legend isn't true. 



Shocking and unrelentingly brutal, this blood drenched journey into hell also stars horror legend Sid Haig (The Devil's Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses).

Did you write the film as a vehicle for Casper Van Dien or did you simply realize, looking back, that he was the best man for the job? We looked for a celebrity actor who would play himself and have fun doing it.  That takes a special kind of actor who can push his own ego aside and just go along for the ride.  Casper was perfect for that because he’s such a talented, fun, and incredibly nice human being which is important on a low budget set where the creature comforts are very limited compared to those you might find on larger productions.
